GMHC’s nutrition and meals services support the health and well-being of our clients living with and affected by HIV and AIDS. Among our services, we offer meals, nutrition counseling, and nutrition education groups. Eligibility: All GMHC clients. Meals Program. How they do it: They provide prevention and care services to men, women and families that are living with, or affected by, HIV/AIDS in New York City.

They advocate for scientific, evidence-based public health solutions for hundreds of thousands worldwide. This volunteer opportunity includes serving the meal from behind the line (cafeteria style), assisting clients with mobility challenges, bussing trays, and cleaning up at the end of the meal. During service, you'll get a break of about 15 minutes to enjoy the delicious meal being served. Founded inGMHC is the world's first provider of HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and advocacy.
